Healthy Food Matters
Well-nourished children are prepared to learn, play, and thrive. Our mission is to foster healthy childhood eating habits that last a lifetime and support your child’s overall well-being. Bright Years Academy is mindful to serve whole foods instead of processed foods, whole grains, and ‘no sugar added’ choices. With good food for fuel, our children are ready for a full day of fun and play! Bright Years Academy works with our Nutrition Consultant, Dr. Jenn Krebs Rapkin, to create and assess our snack menus so that they are healthy and tasty.
Mealtime is also a valuable opportunity for children to speak with their friends, practice self-help skills, and make healthy choices. Teachers encourage subjects of conversation and role-model interactive behaviors.
