Mindful Moments, Playful Poses, and Kind Connections
Mindfulness is the ability to be aware of your thoughts, emotions, body, and surroundings without judgment of self and/or others. During the day at the centers, our Teachers will use the Bright Intentions Wellness Approach eBook on their app on the Bright Years Academy classroom iPads to focus on Mind, Body, and Heart with the children. Teaching children to be mindful, to connect breath with their minds and bodies, and to practice kindness helps them learn to reduce stress, stay calm, and make meaningful friend connections.
